For years I jumped from craft to craft, loving the creative process but searching for that one special passion. I decided it was time to focus on a single craft, something unique, beautiful and distinct. That is when I discovered handcrafted rolled paper flowers, and I instantly fell in love.
I cleaned out my craft room, kept only what I needed to bring these blooms to life, and poured my heart into the work. What started with custom shadow boxes quickly grew into decorative ornaments and floral spheres, with even more creative designs on the horizon.

Forever in Bloom started with a simple wish: to bring a touch of handmade beauty into everyday homes. Each shadow box holds handcrafted, rolled paper flowers in styles and arrangements chosen by you. Whether you are marking a birthday, a wedding, a new baby, a beloved pet, or just a season you want to remember, these pieces are made to stay in bloom long after the day is over.

Forever in Bloom is the studio of Rene Buchanan in Watauga, Texas. After years of jumping from craft to craft, Rene fell in love with handcrafted rolled paper flowers and has been shaping them into shadow boxes, ornaments, wreaths, and spheres ever since. Every piece is made by hand, one at a time.
Almost everything. Choose the frame size, frame color, background color, flower colors, the wording, and the font style. Send along a name, a date, a favorite quote, or a pet name and Rene will lay it out for you before anything is glued down.
The most popular shadow box sizes are 8 x 8, 10 x 10, and 12 x 12 inches. Larger pieces can be made to order. Ornaments come in small and medium, and decorative spheres are made in several diameters depending on where they will sit in your home.
Yes. Share your color palette, a photo of the room, or a swatch from your event and Rene will match the paper as closely as possible. Cream, teal, burgundy, sage, blush, and deep green are always on hand, and other shades can be sourced.
Most custom pieces are finished within two to three weeks from the time the design is approved. Holiday season fills up quickly, so reach out early if you need something for Christmas or a specific event date.
Finished pieces are carefully padded and boxed, then shipped within the United States. Local pickup in the Watauga and Fort Worth area is welcome, just mention it in your order request.
They are made for it. Birthdays, Mother\u2019s Day, Father\u2019s Day, weddings, new babies, and pet memorials are the most requested. A shadow box will not wilt, so it keeps the moment on the wall long after the day has passed.
Because every piece is made by hand for you, custom orders are final sale. If your piece arrives damaged in transit, send a photo within seven days of delivery and Rene will repair or remake it.
